Spring is officially here, and although the weather is slowly catching up with the calendar, there’s still a whole lot to look forward to—like tailoring my fragrance rotation to suit the new season. This spring, my fragrance lineup feels like a busy farmer’s market: blooming florals, exotic fruits and an overwhelming amount of sweet treats. This spring, things are looking peachy. Brown Girl Jane’s take on the juicy stone fruit is sweet, alluring and far from musty—which peach scents can be. Thanks to the added notes of creamy butterscotch, bellini nectar and cashmere musk, this eau de parfum smells like an elevated gourmand, rather than sickly sweet body spray. I’ve been wearing this fragrance for close to a month now, and I never get tired of wearing (or smelling) it.

Fast Facts

  • Base Notes: vanilla bourbon, sandalwood, cashmere musk
  • Top Notes: velvet peach, blood orange, bellini nectar
  • Middle Notes: butterscotch crème, georgia magnolia, almond blossom
  • Scent Type: warm and sweet gourmand
  • Sizes: 0.33 oz, 1.7 oz

Made to entice even the biggest floral hater, Glossier’s You Fleur has become a staple in my warm weather fragrance rotation. It never smells too aggressive on my skin or clothes, despite the floral notes of Osmanthus and Ylang-Ylang. The apricot skin adds a touch of sweetness, and the Cashmeran softens it out in the best way possible.

Fast Facts

  • Key Notes: mineral salt accord, osmanthus, ylang ylang, apricot skin, cashmeran, ambrox
  • Scent Type: fresh floral
  • Sizes: 0.27 oz, 1.7 oz

Milky, lactonic scents are trending in more ways than one. Viral fragrance brand Noyz hopped on the trend with its own unique spin, launching a milky, pour-on perfume formula infused with hyaluronic acid. The mylk de parfums are available in three of the brand’s best-selling scents: only human, unmute and my personal favorite, detour. Detour has notes of citrus and white flowers, making it a perfect pick-me-up for spring. The fragrance’s strength and 12-hour staying power is no joke, so I recommend using this sparingly.

Fast Facts

  • Top Notes: Spanish mandarin, pink pepper, apple blossom
  • Middle Notes: jasmine, gardenia, tiare blossom
  • Base Notes: skin musk, Indian papyrus, vanilla
  • Scent Type: fresh floral
  • Size: 5 oz

Speaking of milk, DedCool introduced its newest fragrance, Mineral Milk—the fourth addition to its ever-growing line of Milk fragrances. It’s aquatic, a little salty and a great option if you want something unique but subtle on the skin. Somehow, the notes of passionfruit nectar, salt and lavender pair beautifully, leaving a clean, coastal-smelling dry down.

Fast Facts

  • Top Notes: golden nectar, passionfruit
  • Middle Notes: coastal lavender, ocean air, marine salt
  • Base Notes: amber milk, virginia cedar, Australian sandalwood
  • Scent Type: fresh solar
  • Sizes: 0.5 oz, 1.7 oz

Despite how you may feel about them, banana fragrances are here to stay. If you’ve ever wanted to ease into the polarizing trend, Ellis Brooklyn’s Isla Sirena is a good starting point. It’s a sweet-smelling solar, with an opening of blue java banana, softened by notes of brown sugar, coconut water and lime. I get hints of the brown sugar and coconut more than anything, while the banana will occasionally shine through reminding you it’s still there. Even the biggest banana perfume skeptic would sing its praises.

Fast Facts

  • Top Notes: blue java banana, creamy papaya, sea salt, lime
  • Middle Notes: coconut water, vanilla orchid, ginger flower
  • Base Notes: vetiver, brown sugar, teak wood
  • Scent Type: fresh solar
  • Sizes: 0.33 oz, 1.7 oz

I’ve noticed an uptick in passionfruit scents this spring, but Armani Beauty’s Power of You is the standout of the bunch. It opens with a burst of passionfruit, drying down to a fruity, almost creamsicle-like vanilla. I truly can’t get enough of it.

Fast Facts

  • Key Notes: exotic maracuja (passionfruit) accord, frangipani accord, vanilla absolute
  • Scent Type: fruity floral
  • Sizes: 0.33 oz, 1 oz, 1.7 oz, 3 oz

This fig-forward scent from Henry Rose is one of my favorite perfumes to wear this season. With notes of fig, black pepper, musk and soft florals, this fragrance wears like a second skin. It's subtle, but impactful enough to linger for hours. I love getting whiffs of it as I wear it throughout the day.

Fast Facts

  • Top Notes: fig, black pepper
  • Base Notes: musk, blonde woods, upcycled orcanox, sustainable vetiver bourbon
  • Middle Notes: water lily, jasmine
  • Scent Type: warm and sheer
  • Sizes: 0.27 oz, 1.7 oz

Spring has sprung at Victoria’s Secret, giving us the newest iteration of its best-selling Bombshell EDP. With key notes of peony, pink rose and raspberry tea, reviewers are calling this perfume ‘spring in a bottle.’ In the past 24 hours, 600+ shoppers have added it to their carts. This is your sign to snag it before it’s too late.

Fast Facts

  • Key Notes: garden lace peony, wild pink rose, raspberry tea
  • Scent Type: fruity floral
  • Sizes: 1.7 oz, 3.4 oz

Boasting notes of pomelo, mango, worn linen and solar musks, this perfume leaves a finish reminiscent of hanging laundry as it dries in the sun. It’s fresh, radiant and has been my go-to fragrance since the start of the season. I wish the mango note came through a bit more, but it hasn’t deterred me from spritzing it on daily. Trust, I will wear this one well into summer.

Fast Facts

  • Top Notes: pomelo, mango
  • Middle Notes: worn linen, orange blossom
  • Base Notes: solar musks, ambrox
  • Scent Type: fresh citrus
  • Sizes: 0.34 oz, 1.7 oz

Summer Fridays’ first fragrance is here, and it’s as delicious as it sounds. As a self-proclaimed gourmand expert, Sunlit Vanilla is one of the best, with well-rounded notes of bergamot, caramel and vanilla. I love wearing it on its own or layering it with complementary fragrances. If you want the full yummy scoop on the latest vanilla perfume to hit shelves, read my in-depth review here.

Fast Facts

  • Top Note: bergamot
  • Middle Notes: caramel, coconut
  • Base Notes: vanilla, creamy musk, tonka bean, amber
  • Scent Type: warm and sweet gourmand
  • Sizes: 0.34 oz, 1.7 oz

Teeter-tottering between a perfume and a cologne, this fragrance has notes of pear, lily of the valley, jasmine and musks. I’d imagine walking through a park with every flower in full bloom would smell something like this. It starts off with a super strong aroma, but softens over time.

Fast Facts

  • Top Notes: pear accord, bergamot essence, blackcurrant accord
  • Middle Notes: lily of the valley accord, jasmine absolute, rose damascena absolute
  • Base Notes: musks accord, vanilla accord, ambrox
  • Scent Type: floral
  • Size: 3.4 oz

I’m not one to gravitate towards rose scents, however, this sweet twist on the timeless floral has turned me into a fan. Described as a “candied floral milk,” it’s exactly that, feeling like a cross between a gourmand and a floral fragrance. It has weaker staying power than I’d like, but the uniquely-shaped perfume bottle makes up for it.

Fast Facts

  • Key Notes: rose milk, amber resin, candied pistachio, patchouli, lucid dreams
  • Scent Type: warm floral
  • Sizes: 0.33 oz, 1.7 oz
