In an era where reboots are everywhere, it feels like nearly every beloved TV show has been given new life. But one iconic drama has yet to receive the revival treatment—and now, one of its stars is shedding light on why. The show? Desperate Housewives. The actress? Eva Longoria.
Longoria appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and was asked who would take the “most convincing” to return for a reboot of the 2000s hit. Her response? “Marc Cherry, our creator.”
“He feels like we’ve exhausted the characters,” she added, before explaining, “Unlike Sex and the City, [which] was only like six episodes, eight episodes a year, we did 24 episodes a year for a decade.”
