Yes, I’m referring to actress Jenna Ortega, who wore a futuristic-like metallic dress made entirely out of…wait for it…metal rulers. Taking place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, per usual, the theme of the evening centered around the concept of "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," with an accompanying dress code of "Tailored for You," which honored and explored the history of Black dandyism.

In case you’re wondering about the inspiration behind her look, an official statement from the brand reads, “A poetical ode to couture and craftsmanship, her sleek sheath dress is crafted entirely from the metallic rulers used by pattern makers, placed vertically along the body to enhance the silhouette to create a bustier gown sculpted on her body.”
