Getting me to commit to a new TV show is no easy task. If it’s a limited series with every episode available at once, I’m in. But if you expect me to tune in week after week, the show has to seriously deliver. Somehow, I recently found exactly that with Peacock’s Married at First Sight, and after just one episode, I was completely hooked.
If you’ve somehow never watched Married at First Sight, the premise is as wild as it sounds. Three to five couples are matched by relationship experts and agree to marry the very first time they meet. (Yes, their first introduction happens at the altar in front of all their friends and family.)
After saying "I do," the newlyweds head off on their honeymoon before moving in together for eight weeks. At the end of the experiment, they have to decide whether to stay married or get divorced.
