Despite only premiering on June 19, the show quickly sailed to the top of Netflix’s U.S. Top 10 chart, becoming the number one most-streamed series on the platform between June 16–23 (yep, even with just a few days in the game). The numbers? Over 8 million views and more than 53 million hours watched. Not bad for a brand-new series.
The show follows the Buckley family, whose North Carolina fishing empire is slowly unraveling—and they’re willing to do just about anything to keep control. Think family secrets, power struggles, and drama by the boatload. The cast is pretty stacked too, featuring familiar names like Jake Weary, Melissa Benoist and Holt McCallany. But one standout you might not immediately recognize is Humberly González—though chances are, you’ve definitely seen her before.
