Gear up, fashion lovers—the 2025 Met Gala is here. And while there weren’t any hamburger dresses or severed heads on the red carpet this time around, I can assure you these stylish celebs brought their best. The name of this year’s spectacular exhibit? “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” It’s inspired by Guest Curator Monica L. Miller’s book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. As for the dress code, guests were told to be on theme with “Tailored for You,” which is a reference to the exhibition’s focus on menswear and tailored suits. I’m banking on lots of references to Vogue editor André Leon Talley, Harlem’s Dapper Dan and Virgil Abloh of Off-White and Louis Vuitton. Scroll on to see how the biggest stars in fashion interpreted this year’s Met Gala theme for a red carpet we’ll never forget.
