When you don’t have the energy or the brainpower to put together an outfit, a cute, coordinating lounge set can come to the rescue. Not only will it keep you comfy, but it’s also the perfect way to look put-together with as little effort as possible. That’s what makes them so great for weekend errands, travel days or lazy mornings on vacation.
But, like with many things, it can be a struggle to find one that works if you’re petite. Given their nature—typically long, loose and relaxed—it’s all too common for the pants to drag or the top to swallow you whole. So what’s a shortie to do? Luckily I, a 5’1” editor, am passionate about lounge sets, so I know just what to look for (and have a few favorites of my own) when it comes to petite-friendly fits. Because hemming a dress is one thing, but who wants to take their sweats to the tailor?
