Fashionable, functional and oh-so comfy, I thought the brand's offerings couldn't get any better—but the new Birkenstock Madrid Big Buckle EVA sandals have me standing corrected. Not only are they designed to per-fec-tion in summer-ready colors (from rose to eggshell to surf green), but they're also priced at a somewhat unbelievable $55! But guys, believe it!

Needless to say, everyone wants a pair (including me). You see, unlike the brand's OG Madrid Big Buckle sandals (which we also adore), this new take on the style is made of a flexible, *water-resistant* EVA material, so they're pool- and beach-friendly. One early reviewer even says, "I like these foam ones better than the cork bed. I also like how the clear buckle came in a different color tone (kind of rosy gold). Nice to have a fresh pair for the summer."

If you ask me, the best part about the new sandals (besides their chic buckle accent) is that the footbed is designed to adapt to the wearer's unique step for optimal comfort. In other words, these shoes won't just look good as you pad around the sand, but more importantly, they'll feel good. Nab 'em now to see for yourself—perhaps in that powder pink hue that happens to be very trendy right now—and thank me later.
