Don't you just love August? Personally, this is one of my favorite times of the year because it’s still warm enough to wear those chic maxi dresses you bought earlier this summer, but it’s also not too soon to begin thinking about your fall capsule wardrobe and early holiday gifts. I polled multiple PureWow editors on the must-have products they plan on purchasing this month, which range from trendy faves like this Book Loft candle ($27; $15) from Bath & Body Works that is perfect for cozying up during the cooler months ahead, and this Antisocial bond-building hair mask ($38) that will totally refresh and hydrate your hair.

This sweater selection comes courtesy of PureWow’s Affiliate Director Pamela Masin and is a great transitional piece to take you from summer to fall. Made with a blend of organic cotton, ecovero viscose and cashmere, this piece accentuates your shoulders with its slightly draped fit and is supremely soft against your skin.Of note: Some reviewers say it runs large, so size down if you’re looking to achieve a perfect fit.

Products that make sure your hair is healthy and protected at all times are another cool-weather essential, and SEO Editor Marissa Wu plans on picking up this bond-building hair mask for the season. "I'm looking to try this Antisocial hair mask. I have crazy split ends, so I'm hoping it'll help with that!" Per the brand, the formula is comprised of vegan silk, which means you don't even have to rinse afterwards. Easy peasy!

Wu has also had an iPad Mini on her wish list for quite some time. “As a New Yorker, I spend an obscene amount of time riding public transportation and have been wishing for a way to turn commute time into writing time because my two manuscripts aren't writing themselves! I’m probably going for the mini because I want to be as inconspicuous as possible and have it fit in even my tiny handbags, while still being able to have somewhat of a keyboard.” With back-to-school season around the corner, this could be handy for note-taking and assignments.

Fall definitely requires adding some candles to your lineup, according to Associate Commerce Editor Natalie LaBarbera. "I just know the bookish collection at Bath & Body Works is going to sell out so fast, so I'm planning to snag a couple of these Book Loft candles while I can," she says. Indeed, not only is this a coveted collection, it's also on sale, which means you need to snag ASAP.

LaBarbera is also loving this nourishing oil from the luxe body care brand Aesop. "I just picked up this geranium leaf hydrating body treatment from Aesop and I'm obsessed," she tells me, adding, "My skin is always dry, so I love how thick this oil is, plus the scent is totally spa-worthy."

PureWow’s Editor-in-Chief Jillian Quint is currently looking at these effortlessly stylish and comfortable shoes. “As I look forward to fall, I'm excited about some tres chic house slippers, so I can still look cute when entertaining at home in my no-shoes house.” Just in time for cozy season, you can snag a pair for just $95.

My teenage sister is heading back to school, so I recently got her this Lenovo IdeaPad 5x for the new year. She typically prefers electronic devices that are on the slimmer side, and this one has an ultra-slim design that can be folded into a tablet. She's also an artist, so I'm sure she'll be taking advantage of the different drawing and notetaking apps. Plus, it has a powerful battery that can last the whole day, thanks to its Snapdragon X Plus processor.

Senior Editor Dana Dickey is upgrading her bedding with this super affordable quilt and pillow sham set. "I'm obsessed with this $30 lightweight quilt and pillow sham set I discovered at an Airbnb this summer. It feels like cotton but is indestructible polyester and gives coastal vibes." It's also available in over 20 different colors, giving you plenty of options to choose from.

Attractive design aside, this coated pan is one of the best I've ever used. There are tons of dishes you can cook on the bad boy, and the food comes out tasting incredible. It’s also easy to use, and I can already tell from the durable copper quality that it's a pan that will last years (maybe even decades). Did I mention it's non-stick?

Investing in a new pair of sneakers is always a *yes," and I've got my sights on these athletic-inspired shoes from Vessi, which are made with vegan leather, and uber-comfortable according to its buyers. One shopper writes, "They are so comfortable to wear and have such a cool design. I was able to wear them for a long time right away without any issue, and it's been great with so much rain to not have to worry about wet feet." I'm partial to this ivory white colorway, but there are several others to choose from, including black and light grey.

11. Salt & Stone Body Mist

Salt & Stone

I’ve had Salt & Stone on my radar for months, and this body mist might be my perfect entry point. It’s gentle enough for all skin types—key for my sensitive skin—and blends glycerin with red algae for a scent shoppers rave about. Lightweight yet long-lasting, it’s the kind of fragrance that lingers in the best way.

I’m on a mission to host more parties this year, which is exactly why this clever cocktail maker is coming home with me. One push of a button and—boom—bar-quality drinks are ready in minutes. And with over 60 different cocktails to choose from, there's something for everyone. It’s basically my secret weapon for the brunch I’m throwing next month.

I knew I had to grab this skirt from the minute I first saw it. The tan DL Twill fabric offers the ultimate preppy look for fall, and there are so many different shoe options you can pair it with. Personally, I'm thinking chunky loafers, but you can also experiment with a wide range of pumps and boots. Oh, and it's currently on sale, so it's definitely going in my cart.

My bedroom can get quite chilly at times, so I’m going to give this weighted blanket from Bearaby a try. Aside from the variety of colors it comes in, the brand gives you four different weights to select from (10 to 25 lbs). Reviewers also say this blanket has helped them relax and fall asleep faster, so I can’t wait to pick one up for myself!

15. Peloton Tread

Peloton

Executive Managing Editor Catrina Yohay plans on adding the Peloton Tread to her home gym lineup. “Unpopular opinion: I love running on a treadmill (and honestly, I am OVER this summer heat). I'm moving soon and will have a bit more space, so I've recently been batting around the idea of investing in a home treadmill. There are so many good brands out there, like Echelon and NordicTrack, but I'm leaning towards the Peloton Tread since I'm a huge fan of the app and its instructors (shout out to @becsgentry!). The screen is superb, the speed and incline adjustment mechanisms are genius (including the auto feature) and I love that it's a more compact size than most. Peloton, please do me a favor and have an end-of-summer sale!”

I've got a wedding to attend in October, and I think I'm going to go with this sleek number from Azazie. The burgundy color is right in line for the fall season, and while this dress is sexy, it's not to the point where it would be inappropriate for a wedding. It also pairs beautifully with a blazer, making it perfect for me because I get cold very easily.
