It’s been seven years since Martha Stewart first unveiled her statement-making puffer vest (that very nearly broke the internet), and with fall officially in full swing and winter looming around the corner, the entrepreneur's famous hybrid design is now available in an updated diamond-quilted pattern, with a few new colors to boot. Even better, it’s currently on sale for just $65 (down from $78), and since first-time QVC customers can score an additional $15 off with the code WELCOMEQ15, that means you could potentially pick up this puffer up for only $50.

So, what makes this outfit topper so special? First, it has a unique short-sleeve silhouette that makes it a cross between a vest, shirt and jacket (dare I call it a shirt-jacket?), providing it with plenty of versatility for fall, winter and beyond. It's also constructed with a super soft and smooth nylon shell, which Stewart herself compares to the feel "of the best silk." The ribbed sweater trim adds some flair, while the drawcord at the neckline ensures snug coverage on blustery days. The warm and comfortable design is finished off with handy welt pockets, complete with a hidden snap closure and fleece lining to keep your hands toasty.

Needless to say, this shirt-jacket has received countless high ratings for its posh practicality, something PureWow Senior Editor, Dana Dickey, called out in her 2021 review. "First, I noticed how counterintuitively glam it felt to slide my arms into the...short sleeves and zip up the slim body of the jacket. As I put my hands in the fleece-lined pockets, I started to get it."

She continued, “I will be happy not to have my credit card go missing when I'm wearing this to run errands. And I concur with Martha's assessment that the cap sleeve is 'so pretty' and that it makes the style so versatile, pairing well with everything from T-shirts to silk blouses.”

Yep, this quilted beauty sounds like the ultimate in-between layer to me, and I can already picture myself donning it to the pumpkin patch, farmers' market and apple farm this autumn. I'm not missing out on it while it's on sale—and if you plan on having a Martha Stewart fall, you shouldn't either.
