Go for the entertaining wisdom, stay for the elevated style—that’s how we feel about the return of With Love, Meghan on Netflix. (Season 2 is officially set to drop on August 26.) To help us get excited for the next installment, the streamer graced us with a trailer and also a whirlwind of style inspo. The look that most caught our eye? A structured cardigan from California-based brand, Heidi Merrick, called the Finny ($255)—and it’s still in stock.

The ivory-hued cardigan is visible right in the opening shot of the trailer. “Do you wanna put music on?” the Duchess of Sussex asks right before “Rockin’ Robin” by Bobby Day starts to play. She’s wearing the cardigan, styled over a simple crewneck T-shirt with a gold pendant necklace. Altogether, it’s a minimalist look that reads as easy and effortless, but also California cool-girl. (Like Meghan, who is Montecito-based, Heidi Merrick was born and raised in Santa Barbara and now runs her design business out of L.A.)

Not only is the cardigan chic, it’s a fun nod to an earlier look worn by Meghan that was also Heidi Merrick. Flash back to April 2024 when the Duchess famously wore the brand’s ‘Ginger’ dress ($655) to a polo match alongside Prince Harry. On the website, the Finny cardigan is styled as something you can throw on over that exact same look, which is still in stock BTW. Worn by itself, the dress is a show-stopper, but it’s given new life with the addition of this cardigan and also makes the summer-feeling style easily wearable into fall.

Of course, you can also simply pair the cardigan with jeans or slacks. What’s fun about the Finny is that it comes in three different hues. (In addition to ivory, noir and sienna are also available.) The sweater features a trio of pockets, too—perfect for tucking in odds and ends and perhaps culinary accoutrements a la Meghan and her show? (That said, we’d worry about wearing white next to anything prone to spattering.)
