But as a shopping editor (and a Gemini), I can’t resist throwing a few trendy pieces into the mix to keep my rotation feeling fresh. You too? Well, lucky for us, Nordstrom—the ultimate one-stop fashion shop—is stocked with stylish finds that embrace the biggest trends of the season.

From buzzy prints and textures (hello, paisley dresses and corduroy jackets) to accessories in this fall’s hottest hue (bring on the cherry red bags!), I’ve browsed hundreds of styles at Nordstrom to bring you 16 of the trendiest, fall-ready finds fit for every occasion.

Nordstrom has a ton of new fall items, many of which are in line with the trends we've seen this year, from funnel-neck outerwear to cargo pants and upscale animal prints. As always, you can also count on the retailer to supply the best of the basics, from cozy sweaters to comfy boots, albeit with a few up-to-date twists.

After researching the biggest trends of fall 2026, I combed through every inch of Nordstrom's site to find the chicest, most coveted and highest reviewed pieces that are timely enough to feel fresh, but timeless enough that you can wear them for months—or years—to come. I was also sure to pull picks with a good range of sizes, as well as items that wouldn't totally break the bank (although I will admit that some of these designer finds are worth investing in).

Excellent news for all you deal-hunters out there: Nordstrom’s price match policy is (almost) as good as its fall assortment. Per the company, "If we—or one of the select competitors listed below—mark down the price of an item you've already purchased, we're happy to adjust the price at your request within 10 days of your shipment date." You'll want to note that the adjustment does not apply to outlet or flash sale prices or most already on sale at Nordstrom.

On the off chance you don’t absolutely love the item you purchased from Nordstrom, you can easily return it either in-store or via mail. Nordstrom will provide the shipping label if you choose to send the item back in the mail or the QR code if you'd rather bring it back to the store. Once the item has been received, refunds can be expected in roughly three to 19 business days. (Note that in-store purchases are processed more quickly.)
