Fall 2026 Bandana Paisley Print Trend
Stephanie Maida for PureWow

Florals are forever and plaid is a classic, but after a few seasons of polka dots stepping into the spotlight, a new wildcard print is emerging to take over for fall: paisley (aka, bandana print).

We’ve been seeing the signs for months now. Cool girls across Europe (in Paris, particularly) have been rocking bandana totes from French brand Call It By Your Name since the spring. Paisley pants and jackets have been increasingly appearing in my social media feeds, and brands from Hill House Home to Loro Piana have incorporated the motif into their fall/winter 2026 collections.

It feels like a natural progression from the bohemian aesthetic that’s gripped the fashion set for a while now. After all, that swirling, intricate design—which hails from ancient Persia—is as much a hippie-dippie staple as suede, ruffles and fringe, all of which have had their moment over the past two years. In the form of the familiar bandana print, though, the pattern gives outfits an Americana edge. It feels vaguely vintage and very “cowboy-but-make-it-chic.” But paisley also lends itself to a more refined aesthetic—peep this elegant wrap jacket from Hill House Home, for example.

Whether you add a dash of it to your look via one statement piece or try donning it from head to toe, paisley in any of its iterations will be the ultimate signifier of an up-to-date look this fall. Start with these ten styles below.

Hello, transitional staple. This lightweight jacket is perfect for dipping your toes into the trend between seasons. It’s made from quilted linen and boasts three pockets and an easy zip closure.

This ribbed maxi shows off the pattern from hip to toe in a classic pop of red. It’s fitted, but stretchy, promising a curve-hugging look without sacrificing comfort.

One of A&F’s top-rated denim silhouettes, the ‘90s Relaxed Jean gets a timely update in this bandana-print style, complete with the high waist and bum-boosting fit we’ve come to know and love.

Granted, this floral-leaning take on the pattern is more cottagecore than cowboy—thank the smocked bodice and puff sleeves—but it’s just as fitting for autumn. The brand’s signature 100 percent cotton voile material is breezy and breathable, yet weighty enough to withstand a cool breeze.

Cozy up in this cotton-blend cardigan, whose shawl collar and fringe trim makes it look straight off the ranch à la Yellowstone. It even comes with a removable fabric belt to cinch it closed (though you can also swap it for a brown leather version to really lean into the Western theme).

The perfect boxy tee doesn’t exis—let me stop you there. Behold, this 100 percent cotton crewneck with a relaxed shape and hip-length hem, great for pairing with slouchy jeans for an afternoon of leaf-peeping.

Bohemian romance, defined. I’m loving the more traditional paisley print and floral accents of this number, featuring a flattering A-line silhouette, ruched bodice and floaty skirt. Dress it up for a crisp early-fall cocktail party or down for the first PSL run of the season.

The oversized bandana motif gives this slim-fitting button-down plenty of Western flair. While it has the look of a heftier denim, the snap-front style is actually crafted from lightweight cotton, so you can don it solo as a top or size up to layer it in place of a flannel.

This button-down, on the other hand, is just the thing to bring some ‘70s style to the office. Paired with the satin finish, the top’s sharp collar and fitted cuffs make it feel elevated and professional—even with the groovy print.

10. Call It By Your Name Maxi Tote Bag

Call It By Your Name

Last but not least, one of the French ‘It’ bags that have helped usher in paisley’s big resurgence. Using fabric sourced from one of the United States’ last authentic bandana manufacturers in South Carolina, this oversized cotton tote bag is the ultimate carryall—plus, it comes with a Parisian stamp of approval.
