Come sweater season, I'm ready to retire the grill and turn to all things autumnal—bring on the cranberry, pumpkin and apple everything. However, I don't always have the time to prepare chicken pot pie from scratch or fuss with a risotto, which is why this season, I've been curating recipes that allow me to spend less time standing over a stove and more time enjoying the actual meal (and company I'm with).
I'm not one to gatekeep, so I'm sharing my favorite easy fall dinner ideas here. They'll satisfy your cravings for seasonal produce (I'm talking Brussels sprouts, butternut squash and sweet potatoes, just to name a few) and cozy dishes that just taste better at this time of year, like comforting soups, casseroles, one-pot dinners and slow cooker recipes.
