Yeah, I'm gonna need to make another trip

My favorite daytime activity? Grocery shopping. My favorite date night activity? Grocery shopping. My favorite thing to do on vacation? You got it—shop for groceries. So when I had the opportunity to *finally* visit a Sprouts market on a recent trip to Los Angeles (from NYC, where we don't have one—yet), you know I took the opportunity to explore.

My first stop? The snack aisle, of course. Priding itself on its farmers' market vibe, and selection of all-natural, organic and locally sourced bites, Sprouts offers an exciting rotation of seasonal flavors and healthy(-ish) treats, and I wasted no time sampling a slew of them. From dill-flavored chips to cherry-accented mango slices, here are the Sprouts bites that caught this first-time shopper's eye (and taste buds), ranked and reviewed.

Although you can always savor the surprise, I think the best way to eat these is by popping a small handful at a time, that way you get both the crunch of almond and tart chewiness of the dried cherry. The semi-sweet chocolate brings the perfect balance between the two, and it's both easy to bite into or let melt in your mouth awhile. The only reason these come in last is that they're not quite as exciting as the other offerings I tried.

Free from artificial flavorings and dyes (instead vibrantly colored with ingredients like blackcurrant and spirulina extract), these vegan gummy bears explode with fresh, fruity flavors that don't leave behind any weird aftertaste or residue (a common issue I find with other all-natural gummies). Although they are addictive (I practically had to hold back my BF from finishing the bag before I was able to snap a pic), they are very sweet, so I had to enjoy in moderation.

If you can't resist the crunch that comes from the slightly charred underside of a chocolate chip cookie, these gluten-free thins are for you. But no, there's no "burnt" taste here. Rather, the light, crispy (and, yes, gluten-free) bites supply an indulgent punch of chocolatey goodness, leaving a lingering hint of coconut behind. Heavenly.

I truly don't know what sort of alchemy Sprouts performed when making these coconut rolls, but however they were able to deliver a distinct creaminess into these solid bites, I'm thankful for it. The tubular creations are light as air and so flaky they practically melted on my tongue, with a sweet, creamy, coconut-y profile that, dare I say, almost leans a little savory? Every bite whisks you away to a tropical beach vacation, but instead of a piña colada, you've got a bag of these babies.

Swicy hive, rise up—this tongue-tingling take on dried mango has your name written all over it. And mine. These newly launched mango slices come coated in a fiery spice blend ingeniously infused with cherry, resulting in a sweet heat profile that's finished with a tart twist. Were my hands coated in sticky red powder after devouring these? Yes. Did I lick my fingers clean? Also yes.

I won't lie, I'm a straight-up dill-aholic, so perhaps I'm biased in my assessment of these pickle-flavored potato chips as the best snack at Sprouts. It's no secret that pickles, and all things pickle-flavored, are having a moment right now (just ask Pamela Anderson), but these chips stand out for their bright, zesty flavor that really spotlights the herb. It is certainly complemented by the vinegar-y base, which, of course, is essential for any pickle-themed creation, but I was left truly impressed by the dill-icious delivery. And the thick, kettle-cooked crunch? Swoon. I'm currently daydreaming about sprinkling some of these on a burger.
