I've been curious about NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)—the latest compound gaining buzz for its role in maintaining youthful-looking skin—so I recently picked up these new overnight gel masks from Medicube. Because they also contain EGF (epidermal growth factor), a polypeptide that's been shown to support skin repair and regeneration, and niacinamide, a does-it-all skincare staple, my expectations were high. After putting them to the test, I can confirm that they fully deliver. Not only is it shown to ease back pain and aid with muscle recovery, but studies suggest that red light may also be able to soothe those dreaded cramps that come during that time of the month. This FDA-cleared model, though, is primarily designed to firm and contour areas of the body from tummy to thighs as part of a fitness regimen. Consider my interest piqued.

I may have a multi-step skincare routine, but I'll be honest, I'm super low-maintenance (and kind of useless) when it comes to my hair. Aside from doing my best to adhere to my own Wavy Girl Method to keep my waves looking their best, I'm mostly a towel-dry-and-go kinda gal. I literally don't know how to use a curling iron. Speaking of my skincare routine—I finally scooped up a tube of the French pharmacy holy grail that is Avène's Cicalfate+ cream after relocating from New York to Los Angeles. Not only has it come to the rescue to replenish my skin's moisture in this new, drier environment, but it's also been a lifesaver when my face is left particularly parched post plane trip. It's thick, creamy and ultra-nourishing, and you only need to use it once in a while when your skin is in need of some extra TLC. One tube has lasted me for months, but I'll be restocking to make sure I'm prepped for the winter—and all the coast-to-coast traveling I'll be doing.

Caffeine habit notwithstanding, I am trying to work on getting better sleep. For that, it seems there's no better investment than an Oura ring. The wearable tech device is renowned for its ability to track daily health metrics—from heart rate to stress levels—and provide especially in-depth insights into one's sleep routine, as well as actionable steps to help improve it.
