At first glance, PureWow VP of Editorial Candace Davison was concerned about sacrificing nearly two feet of counter space to accommodate this new toaster oven (and the requisite clearance from the wall it required). “It wound up replacing multiple appliances, so I actually saved a little space,” she shares. “With its sleek, matte black finish and clean lines, I don’t mind it one bit.” Fast forward a year, and it’s become her most-used kitchen appliance. With ten preset cooking functions—including toast, bagel, air fry, broil, bake, pizza, reheat, cookies, slow cook and dehydrate—it can handle everything from breakfast to dinner without breaking a sweat. “It’s replaced my air fryer and regular toaster. I reheat bagels and toast burger buns at least once a week, and I use it to air fry everything from frozen fries and nuggets to homemade meals. It preheats so quickly that it’s become a go-to for Saturday morning bacon-and-egg sandwich breakfasts,” she adds.

To that end, Davison especially loved that it was “easy to note when it’s preheating and how much time is left for things to cook”—something her old air fryer sorely lacked. The 15-liter capacity is large enough to fit a 12-inch pizza, nine slices of toast, or a 9- by 13-inch casserole dish, and the quartz-infrared technology offers an 80 percent faster preheat time compared to a conventional oven. Next up: Another air fryer review from yours truly. I’m someone who would prefer to use my oven for storage, but this machine was simple (and gorgeous) enough to win an anti-chef like me over. At under $60, the 6-quart capacity is surprisingly generous, and it handled everything from Totino’s pizza rolls to breakfast sausages and cookie dough squares without skipping a beat. I loved that there was no preheating necessary—just tap the power button, choose from air fry, roast, reheat or dehydrate—and either use the preset time/temp or manually adjust. (For pizza rolls, I did 400 degrees fahrenheit for 8 minutes; for sausage links, 360 degrees for 10 minutes with a shake halfway through; and for cookies, 320 degrees for 4 minutes with parchment paper.) The interface is intuitive, the basket is roomy, and the crisping tray is super easy to clean—both are dishwasher-safe, though I usually just rinse them by hand.

Still, a few things to note: The glossy white finish looks gorgeous but does attract fingerprints, and after a few months of use, I noticed the plastic on the drawer edge starting to peel a bit. That said, it hasn’t impacted performance. For someone like me—who wants minimal cleanup, quick dinners and countertop appliances that aren’t eyesores—this has become a go-to. I’d recommend it for anyone cooking for one or two people. If you’re feeding a family or want to cook two things at once, though, I’d consider sizing up to the 9-quart TriZone model for dual baskets and bigger batches.

When Aly Cantor, associate manager of the influencer team at Gallery Media Group, decided to test this ice cream maker for a cozy night in with her roommate, she wasn’t sure what to expect. But after one batch of homemade protein chocolate milk Reese’s ice cream (her “healthy” twist on a classic), she was fully sold. “It came out smooth and delicious in only 30ish minutes,” Aly shares, noting that the machine made enough for both of them to have two small bowls. She especially loved how easy it was to mix in add-ins like chopped Reese’s halfway through the cycle thanks to the flip-up lid—“I chopped up and added the Reese’s about 15 minutes in.”

Beyond the results, the ease of use was a standout: “All you had to do was make sure the main bowl is cold for at least 12 hours and that your base is cold.” She points out that it’s notably faster than her previous Ninja model, which required 24 hours of freezing. If you're the type of person who wants your appliances to pull double duty—function and look good doing it—PureWow’s associate SEO editor Marissa Wu says this one's for you. “I thought, damn, this is the nicest multi-cooker I've ever set eyes on,” she admits, adding that the sage green color was “just gorgeous” and matched the rest of her kitchen perfectly. But while the exterior was what initially caught her eye, it was the multi-cooker's all-in-one design and wide-ranging presets that won her over. The digital touchscreen menu disappears when not in use and lights up with seven pre-programmed modes (sear/sauté, slow cook, braise, simmer, steam, rice, keep warm), all of which allow you to customize temperature and time if desired. And to test it out, Wu and her roommate sautéed ground beef for tacos, braised fish, slow-cooked chicken soup and experimented with the rice function—all with impressive results. “It was super easy to sauté, and then I dumped in a ton of onions, carrots and celery with no issue.” She particularly loved the deep non-stick pan (ideal for minimizing splatter), the glass steam tray (perfect for dumplings), and the fact that the insert could go directly into the oven for broiling or top-browning up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

“I like that I could set it and forget it, and it would beep when done,” she adds, noting that it automatically switches to a two-hour ‘Keep Warm’ mode after cooking. The rice function—while requiring a bit of a learning curve—was also a win: “We were VERY skeptical about the rice cooking function…but in the end, Drew Barrymore…won us over?!” That said, Wu did mention that the buttons took a second to figure out (“I still have no idea how the start button works, but I think it’s the power button?”) and she wished the lid were glass so she could check on food without letting heat escape. Still, for anyone looking to replace a slow cooker, rice maker, sauté pan, and steamer in one fell swoop, she says it “totally exceeded my expectations.”

For PureWow associate editor Nakeisha Campbell, this popcorn maker checked all the right boxes from the moment she unboxed it. “It looks exactly like what I saw advertised, which is great. It's not too big or bulky—the size was perfect for my small countertop,” she shares. Setup was just as effortless: “After turning the popcorn maker on, I used the butter tray as my measuring cap and poured in a cap-full of kernels. After replacing the butter tray on top, I added a few slices of solid butter to melt as the popcorn popped. After about two minutes, the kernels started popping and I had a bowl full of air-popped popcorn in no time.” The popcorn maker uses cyclonic air flow technology to pop up to 16 cups of fresh popcorn in just minutes—with no oil required—making it an easy, healthier choice for movie nights. Campbell especially appreciated the speed and simplicity: “It’s super easy to use, just as long as you follow the instructions to a T. And I like that it’s relatively quick (2-3 minutes).”

The built-in butter melting tray (which doubles as the measuring cup) was also a nice touch, though she noted that “the butter-melting was not a complete success”—the butter softened, but didn’t fully liquefy by the time the popcorn was ready. If there’s one thing Vincent Gervasi, ad operations associate at Gallery Media Group, learned from testing this waffle maker, it’s that you don’t have to be a brunch expert—or even particularly good in the kitchen—to pull off a crowd-pleasing Belgian waffle. “It was incredibly easy to use. Just fill it with batter, flip, and serve. No weird buttons or confusing controls,” he shares. “We didn't spray cooking spray inside of it and the waffles actually didn't stick once they were done,” he adds, crediting the non-stick plates (made without PFOA or PFOS) for the seamless release. The rotating mechanism helped ensure evenly cooked waffles every time, while seven adjustable browning settings let him dial in the crispiness to his liking. That said, he did note that while the waffles “tasted great,” the batter didn’t always distribute perfectly, sometimes leaving gaps in the corners.

Madeline Merinuk, PureWow assistant editor of branded content, especially appreciated that flexibility, noting: “I like that it takes grounds or whole beans for a bolder drinking experience, and not pods or K-cups, which really dilute the coffee’s flavor.” Other thoughtful details also include a 64-ounce removable water reservoir, a drip tray that adjusts to fit a 7-inch tumbler, and a touch-activated display that stays hidden until you need it. The design, she adds, was a major win: “It was so beautiful (no pun intended), and it looks great on my kitchen counter. My kitchen is relatively small, so I love that it's compact (and looks pretty too)…the stark white color really brightens the space up.”

Yet, while the aesthetic earned this machine a perfect score, the usability wasn’t quite as seamless. “It’s not difficult to use, but the functionality and user experience can tend to be a bit confusing,” Madeline admits. As a self-proclaimed lazy coffee drinker who typically leans on her “ol’ reliable” $20 Mr. Coffee pot, the extra steps involved with the Beautiful machine took some getting used to. Still, once she got the hang of it, she was impressed: “The coffee tastes great coming out of it.” Her only other caveat? If you’re not living solo, the single-serving function may not fully meet your household’s caffeine demands. “I don’t live alone, so the single-serving function doesn’t really work for my coffee-drinking boyfriend and I—we definitely prefer to just make a big pot.
