I could fill a small storefront with the amount of Bath & Body Works candles I own, with my collection over 150 3-wicks (and counting). While I could chalk it up to my eight years as a sales associate, I truly can’t help myself when it comes to the brand’s fragranced soy wax blends. Which means I know all the scents worth buying, including the newest releases for fall 2026.
After spending hours at my local store pursuing the latest autumnal displays, let me tell you, this year is one of the brand’s best. New favorites like Football Season and Book Loft are somehow even better the second year around. Seasonal mainstays like Pumpkin Pecan Waffles and Leaves have me itching for my oversize cable knit sweater. And don’t even get me started on Halloween. Not only are the core scents like Vampire Blood and Ghoul Friend wrapped in a spooktacular carnival-themed packaging, there are also a few newcomers. Like Cotton Candy Cobwebs and an already sold-out Disney collab starring two ghoulish icons from The Nightmare Before Christmas: Jack Skellington and Sally. Plus, enough spooky pedestal holders and accessories that could double as Halloween decor.
This year, Bath & Body Works is selling a whopping 106 Halloween and fall candles (featuring a mix of brand classics and a whole lot of newness). With so many to choose from, often with such subtle variations in names (Are you more Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, White Pumpkin, Pumpkin Crème Brûlée or Pumpkin Bonfire? Warm Apple Pie or Honeycrisp Apple?), where do you even begin? Here's where I come in. After many years of sniffing and burning through dozens, I've compiled a list of the fall candles I’d recommend to anyone, based on their scent blend and strength (or throw), when lit and unlit.
