The Our Place Wonder Oven Really *Can* Do It All (and It's at Its Lowest Price Ever for Amazon Prime Day)

A Few Things (of Many) I Love

There's much to love about this oven, from its compact footprint to its adorable design, but I'm mostly impressed by how much use I actually get out of it. Not only does it eliminate the need to buy multiple appliances for each cooking method, it also saves valuable counter space—a godsend for those of us that live in small spaces.

Getting into the Wonder Oven's specific features, I really appreciate both the automatic cooking light (which saves me from burning my almost-daily french fries) and the automatic shut-off (so my anxious thoughts don't have me running back to the kitchen mid-bite to make sure I'm not burning the house down). I also found all of the cooking accessories super easy to clean (though they do need to be hand-washed), and especially love that the bake pan is made with the brand's signature toxin- and PFA-free nonstick coating, meaning I don't have to worry about any unwanted chemicals seeping into my food.

I also have to note that the Wonder Oven is just so easy to use. As someone who has always been intimidated by all of the buttons and settings on standard air fryers, I was excited to find that this oven required nothing more than placing my food in the air fry basket and flipping the switch to the correct mode. And, I'm happy to report, it definitely lived up to the hype of pre-heating and cooking super fast.

The steam function was also surprisingly simple—you just twist off the cap on top of the oven and pour in two tablespoons of water. I was skeptical that this would make a difference in reheating, but after just a few minutes of warming, my stale, store-bought croissants—that honestly weren't that amazing to begin with—were noticeably fresher and fluffier. Now, don't get me wrong, this was no miracle-worker (I doubt anything could have made them comparable to fresh Parisian pastries), but the oven was able to sufficiently salvage the snacks I had originally deemed for the trash.

And finally, the fact that the appliance is made in a cute color that I'm not rushing to stash away doesn't hurt either.

A Few Things to Consider

It's hard to find any real downsides to the Wonder Oven, but there are a few things you might want to keep in mind before purchasing. The first is that, as it's intended to be, this oven is small. While it's the perfect size for me because I'm almost always just cooking for one (unless I'm feeling like spoiling my dog even more than usual with some homemade dog treats), the oven could be too small for a large family. Even in that case, though, it could still come in handy, especially for whipping up some quick after-school snacks with ease.

Another thing to consider is that, because of the small size, standard oven mitts can be a bit tricky to maneuver while you're removing the trays. But after a tiny burn or two, I quickly added these hot grips (were $25, now $20) to my cart in the hopes that they'll be much easier to handle.
