2025 is shaping up to be the year of pure nostalgia. We’ve got The Devil Wears Prada sequel in the works, the Jonas Brothers reunited with Demi Lovato on stage, the Backstreet Boys are back performing—and now, it looks like Camp Rock 3 might actually be happening. Yes, really.

While the news alone is enough to send any millennial Disney Channel kid into a spiral of joy, it’s how it came out that has fans crying laughing in the comments section. It all went down during the Jonas Brothers’ August 12 appearance on Hot Ones Versus, where the brothers were asked to complete mini-challenges that gave fans a peek into their personal lives.

One prompt asked the brothers to read the last entry in their phone’s Notes app. Nick read the cue card aloud, “As a songwriter, there is a constant need to document your innermost thoughts and feelings. Read your last Notes app entry out loud.”

Joe didn’t hesitate. With zero warning, he dropped, “Read Camp Rock 3.” Cue instant silence. Nick blinked. Kevin laughed nervously.

“Okay, that’s a pretty good one,” Nick said. Joe, for his part, looked completely unbothered and added with a shrug, “It’s the truth. It’s literally right here. Sorry, Disney!”

Fans, understandably, lost it in the comments after Joe’s unexpected reveal. “I can’t stop laughing at Nick’s face after Joe said ‘read Camp Rock 3,’” one person wrote. Another added, “Was not expecting the Jonas Brothers confirmation being in Camp Rock 3 to be in a Hot Ones VS video but I am LIVING FOR THIS.” And perhaps the most relatable take? “Camp Rock 3 ‘sorry Disney’ showing up in a video two days after Demi sang with them at the MetLife show was not on my 2025 bingo card but I am HERE for it!!!!”

Camp Rock originally premiered on Disney Channel in 2008 and followed Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), an aspiring singer attending a summer music camp, where she crosses paths with a pop star named Shane Gray (Joe Jonas). The sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, followed in 2010.

Now, with Joe’s little slip-up, fans are hoping Disney’s gearing up for a surprise 20th anniversary revival. And honestly? I'm so ready to return to camp.
