So elegant

I've seen Kate Middleton pull off a variety of gorgeous hairstyles these past few months, from her bouncy waves at The Royal Marsden to her sleek blow-out at HMP Styal in Wilmslow. The Princess of Wales even opted for a millennial-approved side part while attending the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in 2024. Now, the royal is turning heads with a stunning new 'do.

This week, Middleton attended a concert at Horse Guards Parade to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day in London, and while she looked radiant in her all-white ensemble, her hair caught my attention. The princess wore her dark tresses in a gorgeous half-up, half-down style—a big change from her trademark loose waves.

The royal pulled the top half back into a sleek ponytail, held together by an oversized black bow, and wore the bottom in defined, loose curls. The sleek up-do adds a touch of elegance and sophistication, while her free-falling curls offer a fun and glamorous twist. The statement hair accessory also elevates the style and complements her outfit well.

The new style is one of many standouts I've noticed recently. But one of my absolute favorites? Her intricate updo at the Irish Guards' St. Patrick's Day Parade.

For the occasion, she stepped out in an eye-catching chignon, twisting layers of her brunette hair into a sophisticated knot. It marked her first updo of 2025, after letting her hair down at several other royal events.

At this year's VE Day concert, Middleton was joined by her husband, Prince William, King Charles and Queen Camilla, and several other guests (over 12,000, to be exact). Photos were captured of the princess smiling and conversing with other attendees in the royal box, and she practically beamed as she waved her miniature Union Jack flag while enjoying the music.

Keep the fabulous new hairstyles coming, Kate.
