Finding a travel bag that's functional, easy to carry and actually stylish isn't always the easiest task. And while I've found a few great options for weekend getaways in my day, this Béis Travel Duffle ($128) immediately caught my attention when it was released earlier this year. It seemed to check every box—and offer all the organizational features I look for to keep me sane while I'm traveling. And since getting my hands on it, the duffle has become one of my go-tos, no matter where I'm headed.

First, let's talk organization. It's designed with two side compartments that fully zip closed, so it's really easy to keep the items I want separate, well, separate. Both sides have zippered pockets, too, for even more organization. It also features a padded laptop sleeve in the middle that has plenty of room for my 13-inch device, and I could easily slide a tablet, iPad or Kindle alongside it. Plus, there are two exterior pockets—one of which has a built-in key leash while the other has a bottom zipper that allows it to transform into a trolley sleeve.

Beyond that, the duffle features an adjustable strap that can be used on your shoulder or as a crossbody, and is made from a durable nylon fabric with a polyester lining. It also unzips to lay flat, which makes it easy to sort through everything I've packed inside.

I'll admit, I was definitely expecting to be able to fit a bit more into the duffle. I attempted packing it for a three-night getaway when I first received it, and didn't come close to having enough space. (It's worth noting, though, that I'm definitely not a light packer, especially since I usually have to bring along food, treats and other essentials for my dog, too.) But after spending some time rearranging, I found it to be the *perfect* size for fitting all of my miscellaneous items and pouches filled with makeup, body care products and the like, leaving room in my larger bag for just my clothes.

Additionally, I decided to bring it along on a longer trip as an extra check-in bag to hold some items I planned to pick up while I was visiting family, and was *so* impressed—not only with how well it held up during travel, but also how clean it came out afterwards, too. Now, the brand does note that it should be spot cleaned, but I threw mine in the washer and allowed it to air dry. Every mark completely came off, so I'll likely be following that method again in the future to keep it looking as good as new.

The Bottom Line

Overall, this is one of my favorite travel bags in my collection, now, and I'd say that it would be perfect for either an overnight stay or as an extra bag/carry-on option for longer trips. I know I'll certainly be using it for both from now on.
