Four Seasons las Vegas Review
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

It was impossible not to have a smile on my face as my car pulled up to Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. Tucked away alongside Mandalay Bay on the famed Vegas Strip, this Four Seasons is a hidden gem, with luxe offerings and to-die-for amenities. And it's right in the heart of it all, without the mid-Strip chaos of some of the buzzier Vegas hotels.

From a world-class spa to a gorgeous, relaxing pool area, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is a must-visit. And though what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas, I'm here to spill the tea on why Four Seasons is totally worth the stay—here, my honest review.

Who Should You Bring?

For my latest visit to Vegas, I was fortunate enough to stay at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, and while this one was a solo trip, it would have been just as enjoyable to stay with my partner, friends or even with family (including my nieces).

The hotel vibes, while certainly elevated, are comfortable enough for everyone to enjoy. There were kids having a great time by the pool, but unlike other Vegas properties where I've stayed, it wasn't a circus or a zoo. Whether in the chic lobby or out by the stunning pool, everything felt Vegas fun—but in a much classier way than I've come to expect from L.V.

Did I Get a Good Night's Sleep?

100 percent, yes. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, and since this was a solo trip, I was able to starfish in the middle of the bed to my heart's content. The pillows are soft and luxe, but still provide support (unlike some feather pillows where you feel like you're drowning). The bedding is comfy and cooling (which is super helpful for someone like me who tends to run hot).

The room itself was very large, with a stunning view of the Vegas Strip. I was transfixed by the nighttime lights on more than one occasion, with the high-floor Four Seasons rooms offering the ideal manner in which to take it all in.

The bathroom was also super spacious, so there would have been plenty of room had my partner come along on the trip (he tends to travel with a lot of products...). There was a sexy shower and a large bathtub, so I was able to soak my cares (and aches) away after a long day on my feet exploring and enjoying Vegas.

What Is the Food Like?

If you're in the mood for a high-end meal, there is a stellar steakhouse just off the lobby. But my personal favorite dining spot was in my own bed (I told you it was comfortable). I took advantage of the extensive room service menu on more than one occasion, starting my day with fruit, eggs and coffee, and ending my day with a flatbread pizza, fries and a glass of red wine.

Veranda, another solid dining option just off the lobby, is also a must-visit, especially for breakfast. I enjoyed a smoothie and some light granola (and mayyybe a mimosa) on the outdoor patio overlooking the pool. It was a great way to ease into my Vegas day.

I also recommend poolside bites (I had a lovely lunch in my cabana—more on that in a minute) and a stop by the lobby coffee shop, PRESS. My iced Americano was perfect, and just what I needed to keep me cool (at least for a little while) in the hot sun.

What Amenities Are Available?

As expected with a Four Seasons, the property boasts a world-class spa and an enormous (and very clean) fitness center. But the real crown jewel is the pool area.

Sure, as a Four Seasons guest, you have access to Mandalay Bay's pool facilities. But my recommendation? Don't do it. The Four Seasons' exclusive pool boasts much better (and calmer) vibes, while still feeling lively and not at all stuffy. Vegas pool scenes can often feel like a lot, but not this one. In fact, I spent an entire day poolside, and only left because I had to make it to a show, otherwise I would have stayed longer.

The poolside staff is incredible. The moment I felt the desire for a drink or a bite, a friendly staff member would appear. Even the food and beverage director made a point to stop by and introduce himself. And as a lovely added touch, periodic "surprise and delights" were delivered to guests poolside, like a frozen watermelon skewer and a rosé tasting.

My Favorite Part?

If you're able to, treat yourself to a cabana poolside. It was luxury at its finest. I arrived to a gorgeous private shaded space with ample seating, a mini fridge stocked with waters and sodas, a TV (which I kept on mute in the background) and a carved out pineapple filled with delicious fresh fruit. I had two comfy lounge chairs (the fabulous pool attendant helped position the umbrella so I had one in the shade and one in the sun). And, as I mentioned, the waitstaff came by frequently so I was able to sip cocktails and enjoy a leisurely lunch, as the pool music played, before I took turns napping and tanning.

I can't wait to stay at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas again next time I'm in town (and you can bet I'll be booking a cabana).
