In fact, all six bedrooms, both common spaces, game room and home theater all have a unique LOTR theme, as does the outdoor and pool area (i.e., Gollum’s cave pool). Needless to say, with an indoor pool, home theater and arcade stocked with games of every description, you won’t be bored during your stay. In fact, it’s basically Disneyland for LOTR fans—just be sure to tear yourself away from all the entertainment long enough to enjoy the mountain views and fresh air from the expansive yard.

Per the reviews, everything about the property shows that an immense amount of time and energy has been put into providing guests an authentic LOTR experience, as well as all the modern comforts one might want in order to actually enjoy life in Middle Earth. It’s also worth noting that numerous reviewers have gushed about the hosts themselves, who live on the property and are, by all accounts, incredibly accommodating and even provide themed games, challenges and crafts for guests to enhance their experience.

Despite its small size, the space does have a full kitchen and bathroom, and according to the glowing reviews, it’s very comfortably furnished. There’s also a large outdoor patio for enjoying the scenic surroundings. However, I’d be remiss not to mention that, due to the remote location of the property, you’ll need to be prepared to go off the grid: there is no TV, no WiFi and very limited cell service here.
