It’s another week of eclipse season. The moon is waning toward a solar eclipse on the 21st—more on that in next week’s horoscope! Now is a great time to let go of limiting beliefs.

Mercury faces off with rigid Saturn on the 17th and hazy Neptune on the 18th making communications muddy and complicated. But Mercury also enters Libra on the 18th bringing balance and thoughtfulness to conversations after we get through this week’s slog. Venus enters practical Virgo on the 19th where the love planet shows her devotion through acts of service. Venus squares off with Uranus on the 20th bringing unconventional beauty and unexpected romance.

This week is action-packed but also quite sleepy with the moon losing its light. What’s happening now is meant to be experienced, not analyzed.

(Horoscopes follow for each sign. If you know your rising sign, reading for that sign too will provide further insight.)

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

You’re having more fun than most right now. But this week brings challenges in communication and confusion around the details. You accidentally schedule a date for the same time as your dentist appointment on the 18th, and annoyingly, you can’t cancel the dentist. With Venus now in Virgo, love is shown through taking care of yourself, and your best date will support you checking up on your gum health.

This week’s mantra: “Practical.”

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Work has been very consuming for the past several weeks, and you finally get some relief on the 15th. Take the day to relax on the couch and enjoy time with your partner, kids or bestie. Your ruling planet Venus enters Virgo on the 19th initiating your most creative and romantic time of year. What magic do you want to make?

This week’s mantra: “Relax.”

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

The home project or family matter that’s been front and center for weeks if not months hits a difficult roadblock this week. You thought you were ready to put your house on the market, but it turns out your real estate agent is moving to another state. It’s time for Plan B, but also with Mercury moving into your creativity sector, it’s time to have a little fun. Plan time to unwind this week.

This week’s mantra: “Play.”

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

The past several weeks have been a time of separating from the stories you’ve been telling yourself for years, about your family, your desire, and your capacity. You’re learning how to define what you want away from what other people want for you. This week, you have an opportunity to change something on a foundational level. Instead of worrying about getting ahead, focus on making the roots solid.

This week's mantra: “Branch.”

Venus wraps up her time in your sign this week and leaves you with parting gifts of beauty and abundance. On the 15th, you meet someone cute while out walking your dog and form a fast flirtation or friendship. You may run into some financial snags early in the week, but those will be easily smoothed over once Venus enters Virgo and your money sector on the 19th.

Virgo (August 23 - September 23)

A solar eclipse in your sign is approaching, and this week might feel like you’re sitting at the edge of a storm system. Petty arguments with a close friend or your partner on the 17th puts you in a negative mindset about what’s to come. Thankfully love and beauty planet Venus enters your sign on the 19th bringing you a great hair day before next week’s eclipse rocks your world.

This week’s mantra: “Smooth.”
