Temperatures are slowly creeping up, you’re storing your winter boots to make room for trendier, warm-weather shoes (hello, jelly sandals), and it’s high time you dusted off the old patio furniture. Summer is approaching, folks. And for certain zodiac signs, summer 2026 will be one for the books. I asked Maisy Bristol, a love astrologer and coach, for her expert take on what the stars are revealing about the season ahead. It turns out these three signs are about to have the best summer ever.

Chinese Zodiac Elements: How to Know What Yours Is and What It Means

1. Leo (July 23-August 22)

Bristol tells me that Leos are going to have the best summer ever. Sure, there are good things headed this way for a trio of signs, but Leo (sun and rising) has pulled the best hand by far. This is largely thanks in part to the movements of Jupiter (which symbolizes luck and abundance) and Venus (love, romance, money, fun). Though these planets are slow movers, when they show up, they stick around, and bring with them fresh energy.

June 13 will be a key date. Per Bristol, Venus is going to make Leos absolutely magnetic. Your social calendar is going to be packed—parties, events, shows…you name it, you’ll probably end up there. Chloë Sevigny and Alexa Chung will not know what hit them. And that’s not even the icing on the cake.

“The best part about Venus in your sign is that it will coincide with Jupiter in your sign, too (for about 10 days)—making your magnetism work double-time,” Bristol explains. “Jupiter stays in each sign for about a year, which means that when it enters a new sign, the last time it was in that sign was 12 years ago. Since last summer, Jupiter has been in Cancer. But on June 30, it’ll move into the next sign, Leo. For Leos, this means natural luck and abundance will flow their way. So, if you’re dating, you’ll attract new suitors. If you’re going out for the night, you’ll get free drinks. If you sign up for trivia, you’ll probably win. Basically, this is your time to get lucky.”

That being said, your window to cash in will peak from June 30 to July 9, when both planets are in your sign. Bristol also calls out another novel, magical event: the Jupiter cazimi, which happens July 29.

“A ‘cazimi’ happens when a planet connects with the Sun,” she tells me. “This ‘brightens’ and highlights the planet in question to its full vitality. This happens once a year, but it only happens once every 12 years in your sign. Consider this an identity upgrade. Around this date is when you’ll find that you’re rewarded for just being yourself.”

If you think your summer can’t get any better, there’s one more astrological event that Leos should track. The point of the sky known as the South Node will move into Leo on August 19, and, per Bristol, means it will usher in a time of shedding old identities.

Then, in August, a point in the sky called the South Node will be moving into your sign.

“It’ll close off your summer with this feeling that you’re leaving behind the ‘old you’ and stepping into a brand-new chapter,” she says. “To commemorate this, be prepared to change up your look—like dying your hair a different color or getting a tattoo.”

2. Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Caps, your summer is all about your seventh house—aka love and romance. June 9th’s Venus/Jupiter conjunction has set you up for success.

“If you’re partnered, get a date set up on or around this day. There’s no way it won’t be magical and romantic, even if it’s something low-key,” Bristol says. “If you’re single, get out there! Cancer rules family and home, so spend time with your friends, go to or have a house party, get cozy and invite someone over, make someone a nice meal. You’re setting yourself up for a really romantic backdrop.”

However, she does caution the sea goats that Mercury retrograde will cause things to be topsy-turvy from June 29 to July 23. Expect to see old connections resurface, including texts from exes and ghosters…but it’ll be OK! You’re already guaranteed a summer of love. However, plan to hold off on anything major until after August 11, since, Bristol explains, at that point Mars will move into Cancer, your House of love and partnership.

“That’s when you’ll want to put some serious investment into people and partners. Wait until then for the best results.”

3. Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Well, water beavers, you’re also having a summer of love—in fact, Bristol proclaims that summer romance has never been more probable for you.

“It all starts when Venus moves into Leo, and your House of romance and long-term love on June 13,” she explains. “From June 13 through July 9, you’ll feel a surge of motivation to get out there and start dating.”

On June 30, Jupiter will also move into Leo, providing a boost—Venus will make you want to get out there, and Jupiter is going to make it easy.

“You, Aquarius, are not always one to be first in line for needless chit-chat and first date platitudes, but something about the people coming into your orbit right now make dating feel fun, exciting, and completely unique,” Bristol adds. “This is the moment when suitors start coming to you. The best places to be picked up right now are sports games, competitions, parties, and plays or shows. Get out there!”

Your key summer date is July 29. Similarly to the way that Leos are going to be ultra-magnetic, the Jupiter cazimi is going to make you shine. Per Bristol, “This is the day to go on a date, get dressed up for no reason, try your hand at a pick-up line or start swiping right. You could meet a very fated connection.” There’ll also be a full moon on this date, which Bristol says is also a nudge to foster relationships.

And if you feel like you’ve gone through most of the summer but haven’t met *the one,* don’t panic. August 12th’s new moon eclipse takes place in your House of love and romance (Leo), meaning…this could be the day.

Eclipses are like new and full moons on steroids. New moon eclipses bring fated new beginnings,” Bristol says. “You’re bound to either deepen a connection with a soulmate or finally meet them face-to-face. Since Mercury and Jupiter are also connecting, I would make sure you start conversations, open up options to talk and answer any phone calls that you can.”

Finally, Bristol notes that the South Node will move into Aquarius’s 7th House of love and partnership. That correlates to the North Node “encouraging you to step into the parts of yourself that you may have hidden for a long time,” Bristol says. “This is the part of the summer where you’ll get a great idea, start to plan a personal launch of a dear project, or start something new that feels really like ‘you.’ Go with it. And the people in your orbit right now are only helping you get there.”
