2 Zodiac Signs on the Verge of a Major Change This Month

It’s only March, and 2025 has already been a life-changing year. Between Venus retrograde, Mercury retrograde, eclipses, and illusion planet Neptune changing signs for the first time in 14 years, March is set to be the wildest month yet. It’s a transition month inside of a transition year. Everyone is going through it in some way, and if you’re not, bless your heart, I’m sure you have a partner, family member or bestie who has you on emotional support speed dial right now. It’s not a competition, but I can affirm as your astrologer that some people are going through the most. 

Venus and Mercury retrogrades have us all reflecting on our desires and rewriting narratives. Neptune entering Aries is a subtler shift that reflects our collective ideals. The eclipses that happen in March are the most intense portals for change. The lunar eclipse Virgo is on March 14 and the solar eclipse in Aries is on March 29. Everyone is going through it, but because of the eclipses, Virgo and Aries are the two signs on the verge of a major change.

The lunar eclipse in Virgo on March 14 is the first eclipse in the mutable earth sign in almost a decade. Virgos, who are flexible but fond of stability, haven’t been in the cosmic spotlight in a long time. The lunar eclipse in Virgo challenges us all to get specific about our plans. Stale roles and desires will be stripped away. March is a cleansing and a clearing for all Virgo placements. Virgos will come out on the other side feeling raw and exhausted, but with a newfound purpose.

The solar eclipse in Aries on March 29 is the final eclipse in a series that has been ongoing since April 20, 2023 (!). For almost two years now, Aries placements have been opening themselves to new opportunities and ways of being. Aries have gone through so much change these past few years that they might not even recognize themselves when they look in the mirror! It’s been a cycle of embracing passion and individuality. The previous solar eclipses in Aries were on April 20, 2023 and April 8, 2024, and this one brings one final push to close out this chapter of transformation.

TL;DR: Everyone is going through it, but Virgo and Aries are going through it the most. For all of us, March is a month to get specific about our plans and then embrace our raw, fiery excitability.
